Proposal:  REMOVING JON McLANE FROM OCCUPY TUCSON, PUBLICLY DISTANCING OCCUPY TUCSON FROM OCCUPY PUBLIC LAND, RECOVERING LAPTOP BELONGING TO OCCUPY TUCSON IN JON’S POSSESSION
Friendly Amendment: 

1) publicly state that OPL chooses not to participate in OT, that they’re doing something different, 2) officially decide that fraud is a good enough reason to publicly disassociate with someone (state on the web), 3) to address the larger enabling issues, form a structure working group meeting tuesday @ 3pm, discuss forming a more explicit structure, establish who can ask for money, with written policies

Proposal on Finance which includes 5-person committee within the Financial Working Group.
1st would be general budget manager
2nd would be liquidity manager -
3rd investments manager -
4th would be special projects manager ,
5th would be petty cash manager
Two month rotation on each job, then move to next job.
under the plan being proposed here, the finance working group still exists, it gives coherent reports, and is answerable to the GA -
Friendly Amendment: people in that position ought to have proven financial APTITUDE, – this as distinct from a degree

Final Proposal - 

It is the will and intent of the General Assembly of Occupy Tucson, that Mr. John Cooper, jr., and any such members of the Occupy Tucson financial working group, shall discuss and come to consensus on an appropriate method for implementing the financial plan here approved by said Assembly, and this group shall issue a report and a recommendation to the General Assembly concerning the enactment of said plan. – Consensus

CONSENSUS: On Saturday, December 24, the Occupy Tucson General Assembly has agreed to officially start looking into private land for the purpose of setting up a more permanent encampment. Individuals are encouraged to do their own research and come back with ideas on Wednesday, January 4 for the 7pm General Assembly.

CONSENSUS: On Saturday, December 24, the Occupy Tucson General Assembly has agreed to put a call out for this upcoming Tuesday, December 27: we will be having an action. Show up at 11:30am and join us! Details will be available in person.

CONSENSUS: Occupy Tucson, until we agree to a permanent location, will continue occupying the sidewalk around Veinte de Agosto.

The city has proposed to deal with the tickets in unacceptable manner.
We are about to make a counter proposal.  The city attorney wants to throw into the mix breaking the camp.

Final proposal : putting decampment on the table and putting the federal law suit on hold as long as all charges are dropped, office space downtown, city to do more for those who do not presently have an address.

We agree we will have an outside presence and take care of our homeless.

Consensus = YES !

GA meeting 4 times a week, MWFS, other days will be discussion. Amended to allow for flexibility, and there will be a GA at 6:00 pm the day following an eviction. There seems to have been consensus
